Widely renowned sacred music composer, Allen Pote has received numerous commissions for new works, including a commission in 1999 to write an overture for the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra in honor of the city’s triple centennial, and his published choral works have been performed extensively for decades.
Pote has served as the music director for churches and as a esteemed clinician for festivals and workshops. He founded and co-directs the 250 person Pensacola Children’s Chorus with his wife Susan, has received numerous accolades for musical programming, his engagement in community service and choral guild participation.
