Gilbert M. Martin is an accomplished freelance composer and choral music editor. With over 30 years of experience, his original compositions and arrangements have been performed and appreciated by organists, pianists, schools, and churches. Aside from his creative work, Martin is also devoted to teaching and conducting musical ensembles, regularly traveling across the country for this purpose.
Mr. Martin holds a B. Mus. from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, N.J., where he studied under the guidance of Alexander McCurdy and George Lynn. Martin’s exceptional talents have been recognized at Westminster, where he was honored as a distinguished composer and graduate. Additionally, he has received 21 ASCAP Awards throughout his career. As a member of ACDA, AGO, AEA, and NARAS, Martin remains deeply involved in the music community.
