This beautiful lullaby is meant to be sung by a children’s choir (SSA) with a descant sung by an adult soprano.  The pairing creates  the sense of a mother singing to or rocking her children.  Accompanied by piano or harp, the secular but inspirational text makes the piece possible for a Mother’s Day or spring concert.
