About The Composer, Allan Robert Petker
Composer and arranger Allan Robert Petker has over 250 published compositions through multiple music publishing companies. Allan has also performed in numerous concerts and worked as a freelance musician in studios. He has composed several original television advertisements and also writes original music for live performances.
The “Choral Questions and Answers” book series on conducting by Allan has become a mainstay of secondary resources and curricula. His “ADVANCE” learning series was released as the result of his crusade to provide a remedy for musical illiteracy. Allan frequently conducts state honor choirs, college choirs, choral clubs, church choirs, and often serves as a guest clinician or conductor at the request of music publishers. But one of his favorite downtime activities is to perform jazz violin and viola at a nearby pub.
