Long, Long Ago – SATB Divisi

Commissioned by Florida State University to celebrate the sixty-five year history of the university singers, this nineteenth century American “parlor” song arrangement preserves the nostalgic mood of the original but casts it in a more modern harmonic idiom. This would be great as part of a set for American music month. Consider coupling it with Stephen Foster.
